Parliamentary work

After receiving the Citizens' resolution from the assembly members, Pepijn Kennis and his team studied the proposal and started their work in parliament, considering how to implement these proposals.

On Thursday March 4, Pepijn Kennis presented the Citizens' resolution in the Housing committee of the Brussels parliament. Members of parliament from different parties applauded the assembly members and the ACB organisation for their work, and gave some initial feedback on the content of the Citizens' resolution.

The parliamentary team has examined the proposals for decrees and resolutions from other politicians, to react to them or even to contribute from the Citizen's resolution.

They also submitted a large number of questions to Nawal Ben Hamou, Minister of Housing, based on the proposals listed in the Citizens' Resolution.

Finally, the elected official prepared proposals for decrees on housing, taking the proposals of the Resolution and transforming these into concrete legal texts.
